Program Description
Login to your AvantLink account
On the left side of the page, click on hamburger menu then “Account Settings”
Click on “Program Terms”
On this page, you can input your description in the section “Program Description”
Select “Update” at the bottom of page when complete
Keywords
After the login page, select “Ad Tools” then click on “Custom Link Builder”

Text links
*A good rule of thumb is to have a text link for each of the following (or more): your homepage, shop all, best sellers, and links to any coupons you’ve set up
After the login page, select “Ad Tools” then click on “Manage” next to “Ad Management”
In the top left corner, select “Create Ad” then click on “Text Ad”
Fill information under “Ad Text” and “Ad Name”
Click on “Next” when completed
Under “Ad Details” input “Destination URL”, “Start Date”, “Start Time”, “End Date” (if applicable)
Click on “Next” when completed
Select a deal under “Promotion Type” if applicable
Coupon Links
*Note: Coupon links do not need to be actual “coupons” ; they can be evergreen offers like “Free shipping on orders over $50” or “10% off your first order”. You can even set up coupons links to highlight your best sellers!
After the login page, select “Ad Tools” then click on “Manage” next to “Ad Management”
In the top left corner, select “Create Ad” then click on “Text Ad” or “Banner Ad”
Select “Upload banners” and upload the respective image
Click on “Next” when completed
Under “Ad Details” input “Destination URL”, “Start Date”, “Start Time”, “End Date” (if applicable)
Click on “Next” when completed
Select a deal under “Promotion Type” if applicable
Banners/Images
*Make sure banners include branding elements and a call to action. Keep in mind affiliates use these images as their promotional materials without modification so they must be effective ads in and of themselves, not requiring additional design elements or text by the affiliate.

Select a deal under “Promotion Type” if applicable
Product Feed
*A product feed is a CSV file of your inventory that gets uploaded to your network so affiliates can have a live view of what’s in stock and what they can promote
After the login page, select “Creatives” then click on “Data Feeds”
From here, select “Add Data Feed”
Input a name in the “Name” blank
In the “Type” drop-down menu, select “Product Catalogue”
In the “Update frequency” drop-down menu, select the rate at this file will be updated
Click on “Next” when finished
In the next menu, select either:
“Retrieve the file from a website” => input your feed url, username, and password
“Manually upload a file” => click “Upload” and select the respective file
When finished, click “Next” at the bottom to upload
Adjusting Commission Rates
From the home page, click on Affiliates at the top.
Click on “Set Affiliate Commission Promotion”.
Search for the affiliate whose commission rate you want to adjust.
Select that affiliate under “Apply To”.
Select “Increase commissions by” to add to commission rate OR select “Set commissions to” to lower an affiliate’s commission rate.
Set the date range.
Be sure to click on “Submit” to save your changes before refreshing or leaving the page!
