Understanding Pilot Reports
Pilot’s Reports Dashboard provides insight into program performance, which affiliates are doing particularly well, which affiliates are struggling, and commission recommendations to assist with your brand’s optimization strategy. There are three reports accessible in the Reports Dashboard: Commission Report, Underperforming Affiliates, and Rising Affiliates.
Commission Report
The Commission report shows how your commission compares to the average commission of similar brands in the same vertical for all of your affiliates.
Once an affiliate joins your program, they will be listed in this report. Use this report when negotiating placements with affiliates to give you an idea of what your competitors are paying the affiliate and position your brand accordingly.
Underperforming Affiliates
The Underperforming Affiliates report highlights affiliates with the largest decreases in metrics over a set period of time.
For instance, if you’d like to see which affiliates decreased in revenue this month compared to last month, make sure your date range is set for this month compared to last month by clicking on the calendar icon. Then, click on the “Revenue” column to sort ascending/descending.
This data will help identify holes in your program. Use the data provided to reach out to the underperforming affiliates to better understand why there was a drop in performance, and work with each other to optimize performance back up.
Rising Affiliates
The Rising Affiliates report highlights affiliates with the largest increases in metrics over a set period of time. The default timeline will be month over month performance but you can adjust these date ranges by clicking on the calendar.
This data will help identify growth opportunities for your program. Use the data provided to reach out to the rising affiliates to better optimize with them and build a stronger relationship with them given the success in their performance.
